I did an article on how to use OpenOffice Impress, and while I was writing the articles and preparing screen shots, I actually made a presentation with the software. OpenOffice Impress is part of a free open source office suite that is comparable to and compatible with Microsoft Office. Read more about it at OpenOffice.org.

I decided to upload the presentation using the popular social media outlet for sharing PowerPoint, slide shows and multimedia presentations: SlideShare.net. Yes, there really is a social network for almost everything!
